Judging others and ourselves robs us of so much life,

Imagine if instead of spending our time and energy judging, we spent it creating. What would we have the energy to create?

Imagine what our lives would be like if we loved more instead of judging. What kind of connections we could build?.

Imagine if we stopped judging the stuff we created and just put it out there.

What if instead of judging others we looked at what we had in common with their situation? What could we learn from the people we judged?

If we judged less we could create a better connection with ourselves.

Less judgement means less criticism and more acceptance.

If we accept others we can accept ourselves which equals more self love. If we have more self love, imagine the the kind of people we could become.

Where to stop judging

When you examire all the places in your life where you are judging it becomes eye-opening how destructive judgement can be.

Today I have judged myself for spending too much time meditating instead of “doing”.

But meditating has led to this article.

In my thoughts this morning, I already judged my neighbours because their baby was crying. I judged my husband for spending too much time playing a video game. And a government minister for not disclosing some shares he’d invested in a company.

These kind of judgements are pointless. There is no way my judgement is going to improve or change any of these situations.

It’s also important not to judge yourself for judging. Just let it go!

Drop the judgement and realise where this energy can go creatively instead.

We only have a small amount of time on this Earth, let’s not waste it on judgement.
